Compose a second mandala. This one is free-form - any style you wish as long as it is symmetrical in at least one direction.

Sketchbook assignment DUE TUESDAY 9/1: Complete a landscape drawing in colored pencil or in graphite. This must be a DISTANCE drawing - you will need to use relative AND linear perspective.
In class:
Now that you understand how many choices you have for composition, create a composition using repetition of pattern. You must lead the viewer's eye, and consider carefully a variety of questions. Please see the sidebar for a copy of the worksheet to fill out for this project. Be able to answer questions 1-7 BEFORE you begin on your final copy.
