1st per/Yearbook: Cap and Gown photos, Legacy Photos, 6th and 7th grade spreads!!!
If your pages are complete, you should be tagging middle school photos. Check NetClassroom to see that you will receive grades for classwork as well as helping on photo days.
3rd per/6th Gr Beginning: We are completing the color theory design project this week. Pay attention to the instructions for each section. Work carefully and neatly. Once the painting is done, you may use Sharpie to outline some of the objects.
4th per/7th Gr Intermediate: The first project based on The Apprentice involves transferring a design using the perforation technique used for frescoes during the 1500s.
6th per/8th Gr Advanced: Complete the final draft of your figure drawing. Next you will complete a project that combines figure drawing with abstraction. These will likely begin on Thursday.
SKETCHBOOK: Due 1/22/10 Using yourself as a model, draw 6 body parts accurately. You may do 6 hands, or 6 different parts. EACH image must take up at least 1/2 the page.
8th Per/Digital Studio: Hooray! We have cameras, so we are back to completing the iMovie Stop Motion Animation. After the movies (and conversions to DVD) are completed, we will go back to the photo essays based on the photographers you studied. Keep in mind that you receive a grade for each week that you are working as well as a project grade overall. Help the other members of the class if you are "waiting" or done with editing.
