1st per/Yearbook: You now have what you need to truly complete the pages due first. Complete your assignment pages, tag photos, check names and portraits, place the special images.
If you do not have casual shots of your grade level, please notify Mrs. Stein or Dr. Hertz IN WRITING of what you are looking for.
Remind 8th graders to send in their completed questionnaires. Time to think about scheduling the "Memories" pages photos.
3rd per/6th Gr Beginning:
On Tuesdays you will now be attending Study Skills sessions.
Continue practice drawing using shading and hatching round and planear objects. I am looking forward to comparing your initial drawing with how your objects are looking now! We will glaze the plaques and bowls right after Thanksgiving.
4th per/7th Gr Intermediate: We will have the oral presentations completed before Thanksgiving break. Fauve portraits are on hold as we will glaze ceramics next.
6th per/8th Gr Advanced: Complete the editing unit with the painting on folds. Make sure I get your charcoal/conte drawing as that will be graded as well (and sprayed with fixative.) You will be glazing the ceramic pieces very soon! The mobile pieces came out beautifully (with the exception of a few that cracked.)
8th Per/Digital Studio: Continue work on the famous photographers project. Remember it has three parts: a written summary, a Powerpoint presentation, and your own digital shots we will take as soon as the cameras arrive.
We will go back to the iMovie project once the photographers unit is completed.
