1st per/Yearbook: The book is looking absolutely fabulous! Keep tweaking the photos, tagging students, checking alignments. You are doing a terrific job.


3rd per/6th Gr Beginning: Continue working on the final draft of the River of Words contest entry. These MUST be completed for me to mail on Dec. 9. You should also have completed all glazing by the end of next week. (This includes both bowls and the plaques.)

4th per/7th Gr Intermediate: Work on painting your Fauve self-portrait. When you finish, begin glazing any outstanding pieces, including the textured trays. We will be having a special guest artist visiting us on Monday, December 7. The test on Art History will be Tuesday, December 15th.

6th per/8th Gr Advanced: You should have completed a "Before" facial portrait, all glazing, and the extra credit Op Art piece by Friday. We will begin a lengthy unit on portraiture and the figure starting Friday, Dec. 4.

8th Per/Digital Studio: Your PowerPoint presentation on a famous photographer and the essay are due no later than Tuesday, Dec. 8. We will begin watching the student presentations for those who are finished on Friday, Dec. 4. You will want to take notes as you WILL be tested on the artists and their work on Dec. 14th.
